TerraNichol Academy Of The Arts is a developmental early childhood program using an integrated curriculum of visual arts, music, movement, dramatic activities as a base for meaningful experiential and creative learning. We provide a warm, safe, supportive, nurturing stimulating, environment for learning, exploration, fun, which promotes the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development of each child. Each child is viewed as an individual and we recognize every child as being unique, valuing their emerging ideas and individual efforts, along with their need to learn, explore and discover at their own pace.
  

        

TerraNichol Academy provides an innovative research-based arts  curriculum, specially trained staff, Eco-friendly practices, nature driven playscape and nurturing environment. TerraNichol Academy Of The Arts is the place for your preschooler who's families value social/emotional development through arts, nature, and a play-based curriculum. Your child will experience age-appropriate Visual and Performing art classes, as well as academic learning centers. Staff members, educated in the arts and early childhood development help facilitate the learning experiences.   

   

Focus On The Arts?
   Research studies have shown that by exposing children to performing and visual arts will help them to improve their critical thinking skills and develop self confidence. Teachers recognize that the arts are an essential part every childs development and learning. Federal legislation, In the No Child Left Behind Act, identifies instruction in the arts as a core subject area. Educational research also shows that hands-on arts activities aid in brain development and help children learn and excel in other curricular areas such as reading, math, language arts, and science.  Children naturally respond to music, Dance, art and drama. Now is the time to expose your child to many different experiences. Our approach takes into account  the expressive needs and the developmental abilities of young children.
