We understand that parents play an important role in their child's education, and that's why we offer various forms of documentation, such as videos and pictures, to capture special moments as their child grows and thrives. We also maintain a weekly blog that provides a detailed overview of their child's activities and progress, which is particularly useful for busy parents who want to stay informed and engaged in their child's educational journey. Our goal is to facilitate effective collaboration between parents and teachers, as we believe this is essential for promoting a child's overall growth and success.
At TerraNichol Academy of the Arts, we provide an immersive junior kindergarten program that emphasizes hands-on learning. Our students engage in math, science, literacy, and social skills through creative and meaningful activities that are tailored to their interests and needs. While adhering to the curriculum standards set by the Department of Education, we approach teaching with a fun, developmentally appropriate, and creative perspective. Our activities are centered around a common theme, which promotes a cross-curricular approach to learning. Additionally, we offer unique enrichment classes such as art appreciation, music appreciation, creative movement, Spanish, yoga, gymnastics, martial arts, drama, and culinary arts to enhance our students' knowledge of arts and music.
