As a Private School, we offer this program through The Early Learning Coalition of Sarasota County. VPK is a FREE program designed to prepare every Florida State four-year-old* for kindergarten and build a strong foundation for continued educational success *Exceptions may apply
VPK stands for Voluntary Prekindergarten. It is an Early Childhood Education Program for the State of Florida residents, is aimed at preparing children for kindergarten and enhancing their pre-reading, pre-math, language, and social skills. ***Designed for children aged four years old before September 1st of the current school year. It is a free program to Florida residents***
What does your child need to be eligible for this program?
You need the approval Certificate from ELC.
To obtain this certificate, you must register directly on the ELC Sarasota portal. By clicking on the link below, you will be redirected straight to the ELC portal, where you will find all the information you need to obtain the certificate that allows you to apply for the VPK program at our establishment Early Leaning Coalition of Sarasota County
The next steps...
Once you have obtained this Certificate, you will need schedule a tour to our school TOUR OUR CAMPUS and fill out our application in person when coming to our School.
Through email, you will receive a link to register on our waiting list for the corresponding upcoming year. You will be notified via email in the month of March if the waiting list has moved to enroll in the program at our school.
We have very few available slots as priority is given to our eligible students and/or their siblings who meet the requirements.
This program requires a high commitment from the Family to ensure their child's behavior and attendance, as they must meet specific assessment criteria throughout the program.
